The Son

The Day full of light

We awake from our sleep

To do what is right

The entire Day

He shines His light

Into every place

Until we are as pure as the Son

Shining on everything

A welcome stream of loveliness

Forever I will follow

So short a test

This life is

To give something to Him that He deserves

The mercy of His light

Maybe at the beginning hard to wake up

But that I see the light

So blessed and such favor deserves

To invade every place

So that I am completely pleasing to Him

Bowing forever, and all day

No matter what comes my way

In the Day

I do as He says

No matter what they do to me

For His sake

He shined the light

How dare I ignore?

Such loveliness, the light that shines on His tree

His tree where He died for me

So unselfishly

I must be like Him in everything

No matter what happens to me

I bow to the light

And I am forever won by His light

The eternally valuable and priceless light

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen

That I would see

A former sinner like me

Such a thing

I bow immediately

And allow His light

To flow unhindered through me

To everywhere He sends me

The Winter Trees With No Leaves

The winter is so cold

And God is shivering in the cold

Shivering.

But we just put our jackets on

And say we hate it

But the Lord is shivering

Shivering in the cold

All the trees

The leaves all fell off

And the trees are bare branches

Because we stole our impurity and sin

From His tree

The dark grey sky through winter

Is His feelings

Over all the sin that happened,

That started at the tree

His heart poured out upon the heavens

The deepest agonies of sadness

That we destroyed His perfect creation

The Son of God, Jesus Christ

Died on the tree

To redeem the tree, He nailed Himself to the tree

For people

Who destroyed His tree, the one we ate from

The Yellow Rose

Certain colors of this earth

Green, red, blue, and yellow

Are the colors

Of the ruler

Of this world

Signaling to all who controls this earth

But, just like God created the red rose

To show how beautiful His death was

The red petals symbolizing the blood of His death

The thorns symbolizing the pain of His dishonored crown

Yet so lovely and beautiful

God created the yellow rose

To show the tender beauty

Of who He truly is

Sweet, tender, warm, loving, compassionate, and kind

Yet He still is the one who truly controls this earth

From green to yellow

And that He is worthy for what He has done

His crown of thorns still so lovely, the thorns

To be glorified

Thorns

All of the trees in the winter

The bare branches

And tiny branches extending off the bigger branches

Look like thorns

Like the crown of thorns

Jesus wore

On the cross

And while He was being beaten and whipped and mocked for us

The crown of thorns

They put on His head

The thorns are all over the winter bare branches of the trees

In the cold of the winter

Reminding us of how cold

How bad He felt on the cross

And when we reject Him and sin

With His blood pouring out over our sins

Like the branches look like veins

He took thorns and bled through His veins

To save us

Beautiful poetry is His trees

So lovely is what He has said

Bare tree branches are all over the place in winter

Reminding us of what He did

And what we can have

Repent of our sins

And love Him dearly

And worship Him richly

So that He is honored

And not hurt and dishonored

Tree in the Water

Just like how a tree planted in water

Will always be flourishing

A person

With the Living Water of the Holy Spirit

Will always be flourishing

According the Lord and His Word

He pours out His Spirit

And you always lovingly do His will

Just the way it was always supposed to be

Completely perfect and pure

Completely innocent

Before the fall

At the tree

Where we ate

The forbidden fruit

Trees

The bare branches of a tree

In the winter

All of it's leaves have fallen to the ground

The branches reach out

And look like veins from inside a human body

And also like the crown of thorns Jesus wore

When He died for us

Every tree has so many thorn-like pieces, so many, reaching out in so many directions

All over all the trees all over the earth,

Every single tree, speaking again and again

How very much mercy and love He showed us

By dying for us

He died on a tree

There's so many trees everywhere

All trees with all the branches reaching out like veins

Seem to be reaching out to me

Telling me He loves me that much

All the trees in the world - all together

Every vein-like branch reaching out

Zillions upon zillions of thoughts

Of God's tender love

All at one time

For me

Trees only grow so high

This symbolizes how He cried to the Father

That He wouldn't have to do it -

He reached out in prayer to His Father

But He could not grasp an answer that

He wouldn't have to do it

But that He had to do it anyway,

And He died.

He died for me

Just like how the dead leaves fall off the tree.

He let go of His life to save mine.

The leaves fall off the tree, in the fall,

Like at the fall, how death entered our lives, after eating from the forbidden tree

But then eventually in the Spring the green leaves come back,

Like salvation and life, because of what Jesus did

And placed His poetry throughout life on earth

To allure me and pull me into His loving arms

To be set free, and gaze upon the most beautiful face forever

Twigs on the Ground

Broken twigs all over the ground

Everything here is broken

His broken tree

They lay all over the place

They fall to the ground

Like billions of tears falling from heaven to the ground

Because of His broken tree

Twigs

Twigs, tree branches, little twigs

Big twigs

Fell off the trees

Little thorns

Twigs represent God's thoughts of love

Toward people

Who reject His love

Every twig is a thought of love

Toward a person

Sometimes small is needed

Sometimes big is needed

He just wanted you to accept His love

He died on a tree, you rejected Him

And every twig

Is a broken heart - broken piece of His broken heart

From His broken heart

To fall on the ground

So you can see many

He is pleading with you to repent

In His broken heart even

Please love Jesus

You will burn forever

In His deep anger

If you don't

He poured His broken heart all over the ground

And you just step on it

And forget about it

And keep walking on to your selfish life

Wet Sand

When water falls

From the clouds

Onto the sand

The sand symbolizes

All sinners' sins

And the water symbolizes

God wanting to save people

From hell

Wet sand symbolizes salvation

God wants all saved

He is willing to forgive all sin

Why have You forsaken Me

In the winter

The leaves fallen off the trees

Leave veins

Coming off the tree branches.

So much profound beauty

And His veins, He gave

He died

And just as no tree can reach the heavens

Jesus in His dying for us

Could not reach not dying for us,

Even though He willing gave

And like when He cried out,

My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?

Winter Veins

In the winter the leaves have fallen off the trees

And you can see the complete structure of the branches

They look like veins

The veins of Jesus Christ

When He died on the cross

Yet they are in the cold weather,

for a long period of time

Like so cold the offering we give Him sometimes

Even forgetting Him ever

While it is so plain to see

He is crying out to us all

That He is very real

And wants our love and attention

The most beautiful artwork to ever be seen, trees

so profound in such beauty

so well stated, so lovely

Winter

The bare tree branches in Winter

Are the tree He died on

The tree He made with His carpenter hands Himself to save us

The tree we ate from in the beginning

Are Jesus' veins

Thorns

His hands reaching out to allow the nails

To pierce His hands and feet

And snow and cold fall on them

So often and so much

Beautiful snowflake tears

To tell us

His heart is so broken

When we do not love Him

His snowflake tears fall on the trees

They make the trees cold and frozen

How God's heart feels

When you reject His salvation

When you sin against Him
